Spring Term

It is now week 4 of Spring Term of my Freshmen year at the University of Oregon! THANK GOD! :) I am very ready for this year to be over and for summer to begin! I mean don't get me wrong, overall I love college. This year has just been a lot of changes, a lot of small things going wrong and blah blah blah. I think what I am ready for the most is not to live in a 4x4 room. Lots of people say living in the dorms is such a great experience and so much fun, but really I have not really had that much fun! For me, living in a small room, using a bathroom that makes me feel like i'm using a rest stops bathroom everyday, taking showers in the smallest area ever only enclosed by curtains is just not my idea of fun lol!
ok its not as bad as i make it seem to be, but its just definitely not what I am use to. I am definitely jealous of the nice rooms my friends have at OSU! lol
It has also been a big adjustment from high school classes to college classes. I guess you could say I was a pretty good student in high school and it was not too difficult for me...well in college I have to really study hours and hours for my B grades! lol which is fine, it just took some getting use to from high school!
Overall I love the University of Oregon though and this is definately the place I am meant to be! The campus is great, most the people, staff are great! And to top it all off I love the city of Eugene! Its the perfect size for me and is probably a city I will be staying in for awhile!

Right now I am in the RA training class/interview course! Its pretty interesting but I really hope they offer me the job because I think it would be lots of fun to be an RA next year, I will admit at first that I was not sure about it, mainly because I was concerned with time commitment and such, but now learning more about it I am starting to become more excited for it every day hoping that I will get the job!
